The Ninth Amendment reserves the rights of the People, rights that have power because they have not been enumerated. The Ninth Amendment has played an important role in carving out privacy rights, particularly with respect to reproductive rights. We’ll consider the benefits and challenges of this vaguely-defined Amendment. Thanks to the friends of Brooks Memorial Library, this event is free and open to the public.
